Through my love of the local countryside and walking, I see the landscape in blocks of colour and this is reflected in my paintings. The Lake District is a very special place for me. I use to come here when I was a young girl and and I now bring my children to this wonderful place and we walk the fells. I would be delighted to be part of such a wonderful project. Read More

Jane reveals Star Grazing Herdwick
Jane has been an artist for over 30 years, having been taught by renowned artist Christopher Fiddes at Northampton High School for Girls, then gaining a Diploma in Foundation Studies at Northampton School for Art, a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Loughborough College of Art and Design, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Printmaking from Wimbledon School of Art.
I moved from a coal mining village in Wales to Keswick 34 years ago where everything seemed coal dust black and gray. Now I paint in glorious colour of Cumbria views where all the above are included plus paragliders, hikers & dog walkers, couples holding hands & children playing games even the rescue helicopter & don’t forget to look for my signature, it’s there somewhere!
